The strategic partnership integrates AI and IoT technologies to enhance operational efficiency, safety, digital services, and the competitiveness of the industrial estate.
Jakarta, 27 July 2026 – TransTRACK, the leading tech enabler focused on digitalizing fleet operations through Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero) / KIM at Menara Danareksa, Jakarta, on 24 July 2026, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between TransTRACK and KIM to develop a technology-driven industrial estate ecosystem.
The collaboration aims to improve operational efficiency and safety across transport and logistics operations while accelerating KIM’s transformation into a more integrated, sustainable, and competitive Smart Industrial Estate. Through this partnership, TransTRACK will not only provide technology solutions but also serve as KIM’s strategic partner in building a digital business ecosystem.

The collaboration is expected to help improve tenants’ operational efficiency, optimise asset utilisation, introduce digital value-added services, and create opportunities for recurring revenue streams for the estate operator.
Founder and CEO of TransTRACK, Anggia Meisesari, said industrial estates play a strategic role in supporting national economic growth. Developing digital ecosystems is therefore becoming increasingly important to strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness amid the evolving dynamics of global supply chains.
“Digitalisation is no longer an option, but a necessity for industrial estates seeking to improve efficiency, safety, and competitiveness. Through our collaboration with PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero) / KIM, we are not only providing technology but also serving as a strategic partner in building a digital business ecosystem that can optimise assets, create value-added services, and unlock new revenue streams for the estate operator,” Anggia said.
“We believe AI and IoT can provide a strong foundation for developing industrial estates that are more productive, integrated, and sustainable. We also hope this collaboration can serve as a model for digital transformation that can be replicated across other industrial estates in Indonesia,” she added.
As part of KIM’s Smart Industrial Estate development, the scope of the collaboration will include a range of digital initiatives, including Smart Transportation, Smart Logistics, AI Safety, Asset Management, Visitor Management, Smart Parking, Carbon Emission Monitoring, ESG Reporting, and a Digital Command Centre.
These initiatives will form part of a broader smart industrial estate development framework. Through this approach, new solutions and innovations can be introduced gradually in response to the evolving needs of KIM and its tenants, while remaining aligned with the partnership’s strategic direction.

Director of PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero) / KIM, Daly Mulyana, said digitalisation is an important factor in improving service quality, operational efficiency, and the investment appeal of an industrial estate.
“The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between KIM and TransTRACK to build a technology-driven industrial estate ecosystem. This collaboration aims not only to improve operational efficiency and safety across transport and logistics, but also to create new business models through asset optimisation, service digitalisation, and the use of AI and IoT technologies,” Daly said.
“We believe this collaboration will deliver added value for all tenants, strengthen KIM’s competitiveness as a modern industrial estate, and provide a model for digital transformation that can be replicated across other industrial estates in Indonesia,” he added.
The partnership is particularly significant given KIM’s position as one of the largest industrial estates in Sumatra and a key hub for manufacturing and logistics activities. The integrated implementation of technology is expected to improve the overall management of the estate while delivering better services to tenants and other stakeholders.
Throughout the partnership, TransTRACK and KIM will conduct regular monitoring and evaluations to ensure that each initiative is implemented effectively and remains aligned with the estate’s development needs.
Through this collaboration, TransTRACK reaffirms its commitment to expanding the adoption of AI and IoT technologies across Indonesia’s strategic sectors while supporting the country’s industrial transformation towards a more efficient, safe, integrated, and sustainable transport and logistics ecosystem.
