Jakarta, August 1, 2023 – Olsera, a technology company providing an all-in-one business management system for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), collaborated with M Bloc Market to support the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) in the APINDO UMKM Merdeka Festival 2023. M Bloc Market also played a role as curator for selected outstanding local MSMEs participating in the event, where all transactions throughout the festival were conducted using a non-cash (cashless) payment system supported by Olsera’s online cashier / Point of Sale (POS) system.
Held from July 28 – August 1, 2023 at the Exhibition Hall, West Mall Grand Indonesia, the festival was specially organized by APINDO to support collaboration among local entrepreneurs, especially MSMEs, in marketing their products and increasing public awareness of the importance of supporting local MSME products. The festival featured 259 MSMEs curated by APINDO and its acceleration partners from a total of 602 MSME applicants, with 11 percent categorized as fresh food businesses, 7 percent as beverages, 47 percent as food ingredients, and 35 percent in fashion, crafts, and other categories. A total of 21 percent of participating MSMEs were recorded as having conducted export activities.
