Jakarta, 22 June 2025 – Jakarta, 21 June 2025 – PT PLN (Persero) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the international electric car racing event, the 2025 Sarinah Jakarta E-Prix, by providing a reliable power supply to ensure seamless operations at this world-class circuit.
As the Official Power Partner, PLN not only fulfills the event’s electricity needs but also delivers a strong message about energy transformation toward a more sustainable future. A total of 7.9 MVA of power is distributed across critical event zones—including the paddock area, charging stations, race control, media center, and fan village.

To ensure optimal electricity supply throughout the event, PLN has deployed 13 mobile substations (UGB), 5 UPS units, 1 DCC Mobile unit, and 100 standby personnel stationed at key operational points.
In addition, PLN has set up six EV charging points as part of Indonesia’s growing electric vehicle ecosystem. This initiative not only supports the technical needs of Formula E but also accelerates national EV adoption.
PLN’s presence at this event is in line with the vision of both Formula E and the Jakarta Provincial Government to position Jakarta as a city of the future—one that champions clean energy, sustainable mobility, and green industrial growth.
