From stories and podcasts to children’s books and reflective narratives, the world of Cromboloni continues to evolve alongside Dr. Rio Christiawan’s creative journey. What began as an idea that has long lived in his mind and heart is now entering a new chapter with the upcoming release of Crombo and Loni: Friends from the Forest, which has officially entered the printing stage and is scheduled to launch in July 2026.
Dr. Rio is also preparing another publication rooted in the Cromboloni universe—this time with elements of light philosophy and self-reflection. Set to be released under Gramedia, the upcoming title explores a more contemplative side of storytelling while preserving the imaginative spirit that defines the Cromboloni narrative.
Following the introduction of Crombo and Loni at the National Festival Rimba Kata, the journey will continue at the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival (UWRF) 2026.
